Questions we are often asked
Something else you need to know? Get in touch.
Do I need an appointment?
No. You can walk in with your file or your idea. For larger jobs, or if you are travelling a long way, it is worth phoning first.
What file type should I bring?
A PDF is best, as it keeps your fonts and layout fixed. We can also work with Word, PowerPoint, JPG and PNG files, and we will tell you if something may not print well.
Is there a minimum order?
For most work, no. One poster, one T-shirt or one mug is fine. A few specialist items, such as printed cups and glassware, do have minimum quantities, and we will tell you up front.
Can you print the same day?
Often, on suitable jobs. Copies, posters, business cards and flyers with a ready file sent early are the most likely. Binding, embroidery and made-to-order items take longer. Tell us your deadline, and we will be honest about whether we can meet it.
Can you help if I do not have a design?
Yes. Artwork set-up is free when we print the job. Bring your wording, your logo and any examples that you like, and we will show you a proof before printing.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Most customers collect from Gatton Road, and we can deliver anywhere in the UK for a charge that we confirm in your quote.
Can you match a colour exactly?
We can get close, and a printed sample of the colour you want helps. Screens and paper show colour differently, as our guide to RGB and CMYK explains.
How do I pay?
Ask us when you order. We will confirm the total and how to pay before any printing begins.
Got something to print?
Call us, send your file on WhatsApp, or bring it to 2-4 Gatton Road. We will tell you what it costs before we start.
