Choosing the right poster material
The right material depends on where the poster will go and how long it needs to last. Here is the short version.

Sizes at a glance
A2 is 420 x 594 mm, A1 is 594 x 841 mm, and A0 is 841 x 1189 mm. Each size is exactly double the one before it, so a design made for A2 scales up cleanly. Our guide to paper sizes has the full list.
Getting a sharp result at large sizes
Large prints show up low-resolution images that looked fine on a screen. Send the original file rather than a screenshot, and aim for at least 150 dpi at the final size. If you are not sure, bring the file in and we will look at it with you. If you have no artwork at all, we can set up a poster free of charge when we print it.
