Glasses with your name on them
Branded glasses make a bar look more established, and a personalised glass makes a thoughtful present. Pubs and restaurants order logo glasses for their drinks. Companies order them as gifts. Couples order them for weddings, and groups order personalised pint glasses for birthdays, stag parties and retirement gifts.
Types of glass

- Wine and prosecco glasses for weddings, restaurants and tastings
- Tumblers and whisky glasses for gifts and corporate events

Printing or engraving?
| Method | Look | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Screen printing | Bold, solid colours | Bars and larger orders |
| Laser engraving | Subtle, frosted, permanent | Gifts, weddings and names |
| Etching | Traditional frosted finish | Premium gifts |
| Digital (UV) printing | Full colour, photos and gradients | Short runs and complex logos |
Engraved glass will not wash off, so it is a great option for a keepsake. Printed glasses can give you more colour, and durability differs depending on the method. Ask us what to expect in a commercial dishwasher.
Designing on glass
Glasses are curved and clear, so your design needs to be simple, with strong shapes. Small text can be hard to read through a transparent surface or a dark drink. A white or a strong-coloured design often stands out better on beer than a dark logo. For a personal gift, a name and a date usually look better than a long message.
Dishwasher resistance
Bars and restaurants need glasses that can survive repeated commercial washing. Standard printing can wear down quickly at high temperatures, and strong detergents do not help. Tell us how you will wash them, and whether you need a dishwasher-rated option. Hand-washing will always extend the life of the print.
Rules on measures
Glasses used for selling beer and cider by the pint or half-pint must be properly measured and marked. Check that the glasses you are buying are suitable if you plan to use them for selling drinks in a bar.
Quantities and timing
We can arrange a single personalised gift or a run for a whole bar. Printed glassware usually has a minimum order, while engraving can be done in smaller numbers. Glass needs careful packing and is usually made to order, so please allow a week or two, and order some extras in case of breakages.
Ordering
Send your logo or wording, and tell us the type of glass and the number you need. Artwork is set up free of charge when we print the job, and you will see a preview before it is made.
Questions we hear about branded glassware
Can I order one personalised glass?
Often, yes, particularly with engraving. Printed glasses usually have a minimum order, so tell us what you need.
Are printed glasses dishwasher safe?
It depends on the print method and the dishwasher. Tell us how you wash glasses, so that we can suggest a suitable option.
What is the difference between engraved and printed glass?
Engraving gives a permanent frosted look, whereas printing allows solid colours and full-colour logos.
Do pub glasses need special markings?
Glasses used for selling beer and cider by the pint usually need to be marked properly. Check the requirements with your supplier or local trading standards.
