Children's personalised backpacks
A child's name on a backpack helps stop bags from getting mixed up at nursery or school. We can print or embroider a name and a simple image. Choose a size to match the child, and consider sturdy straps and an easy-to-clean fabric. Check the spelling, and think about whether a name should be visible on a bag used on the way to school. Some parents prefer to use initials, or to place the name inside the bag, for privacy.
Print or embroidery?
Printing is usually best for smooth surfaces and colourful logos. Embroidery suits heavier bags and gives a premium finish, but stitching through a bag's lining or pocket can be limiting. The shape, zips and seams of the bag can restrict where your logo can go, so we will check this on the actual bag before going ahead. Waterproof bags may have coatings that need a particular method.
Choosing a bag for a corporate gift
Think about who will carry it. A laptop bag is a good choice for professional services, a backpack for tech and younger teams, and a drawstring for an event giveaway. Your logo should be simple, in a size that does not shout too loudly. A better bag with a small logo often gets used for longer than a cheap bag with a big one.
Ordering
Send your logo or wording, tell us which bag you want and how many. We will confirm the price and the placement, and send a proof. Setting up artwork is free when we print the job, and embroidery may include a one-off digitising cost. Some bags need to be ordered in, so please allow time before an event, a school term or a conference. We can supply them for collection from Gatton Road, or deliver them anywhere in the UK for a quoted charge.
