Tear-resistant posters that survive the real world
Non-tear posters are printed on a synthetic material that resists water and rips far better than paper. They are a good fit for anything that gets handled or is exposed to wet: pool and gym notices, garden-centre and market signs, kitchen procedures, construction site instructions and school displays.

Is it really waterproof?
The synthetic material does not soak up water the way paper does, so a poster will survive rain and can usually be wiped clean. Any material is only as good as the way it is fixed, though: a poster that flaps in the wind will eventually wear at its fixings. Use a frame, a pavement sign or a strip of tape around the entire edge if it will be outside for a long time.

Paper, PVC or non-tear?
Our paper posters offer the sharpest, cheapest finish for dry, indoor use. PVC posters are the lowest-cost tough option for one-off events. Non-tear costs more than PVC, but it stands up better to repeated handling and is a better long-term buy if the poster will be used again and again.
Ordering
Send a PDF with fonts embedded. Keep key text at least 10 mm from the edge if it will sit inside a frame. If you need design help, we will prepare the artwork free of charge when we print, and send you a proof to approve. Ask us about same-day printing if you are in a hurry: ready files sent early can often be turned around quickly.

Are non-tear posters waterproof?
The synthetic material resists water and can usually be wiped clean. They suit wet, handled and outdoor spots much better than paper.
How much do waterproof posters cost?
A single A2 costs £10, A1 costs £20 and A0 costs £35, with lower rates for 5 or 10.
Can I write on a non-tear poster?
Some markers and paint pens work on it, but ordinary ballpoint often does not. If you plan to write on it, tell us first and we will test a sample.
How long will they last outdoors?
It depends on sunlight and how they are fixed. They will outlast paper by far, but a poster in constant direct sun will gradually fade.
