PVC posters from £5
PVC posters are a low-cost way of getting a tougher print than paper. They are popular for events, political and community campaigns, shop promotions and temporary signs, where paper would not hold up but a rigid board would be more than you need.

For most events, A1 is a good balance between price and visibility. An order of ten A1 posters at £8 each comes to £80.
Indoors and outdoors
PVC copes with damp and rough handling much better than paper, so it can be used in sheltered outdoor locations such as porches, shop fronts and fences. If a poster will be outside in full weather for a long time, tell us. For anything that needs to last through heavy rain and repeated handling, we may suggest a non-tear poster, a full PVC banner with eyelets, or a Correx board.
How to put them up
- On a wall or window frame, use strong double-sided tape.
- On railings or fences, ask for eyelets so you can use cable ties. Note that you need the landowner's permission, and rules apply to advertising on public land.
- In a frame or a pavement sign, measure the frame first. Standard A-board frames usually take A1.
Files and resolution
The same rules apply as for any large-format print: use a PDF if possible, and check that images are about 150 dpi at the final size. Avoid thin text on busy backgrounds, as posters on a fence are read at a distance, often while walking past. A large headline, a date and a single action are usually all you need.
Quick turnaround
Because PVC posters come off a large-format printer, ready files can often be turned around quickly, and same-day printing may be possible for small quantities if you send your file early. Free artwork set-up is included when we print the job, so you can bring a rough idea or a Word document and we will build the poster from there.

Are PVC posters waterproof?
They handle damp and light rain much better than paper. For long-term exposure to weather, ask us which material would be the most suitable.

Tell us how you plan to hang them when you order, and we will confirm the best fixing for your poster.
Are PVC posters and vinyl posters the same?
No. Vinyl posters stick on directly. PVC posters are usually hung or fixed and can often be moved and reused.
